Pin layouts
Note that PatternCatch is generally supplied with the standard 12-pin layout shown here.
Other pin layouts may be ordered, some of which are available to try out on the Play page. Generally, the fewer the pins, the easier the puzzle is to solve. The standard 12-pin layout is considered about right, but if you are buying a puzzle for a younger child, the 10-pin layout (see Wedding version) may be more accessible. The ones with most pins on are definitely fiddly, try them out. Just specify what you would like in the Special Requirements box, and remember that any design can be ordered with any pin layout.
